Two Words

And so he searched for year's, the heavens, the earth and the sea's. He vowed he wouldn't rest until he found her. He knew all it needed was two words...

She thought he was gone never to come back, she thought she had lost him forever, never to be found again.

He took midnight walks to clear his head to think, remind him of those restless nights when she needed him and the air to fill her imagination. He knew all it needed was two words...

So she remembered him in her own special way, cooped up inside she told herself 'Some day...I swear'.

And then came the day he learned she wanted him too, to be there for her, many say he sensed her happiness, her sorrow and her love for him. He found her one night, sat alone in his world missing her, sure there were others around. But nobody filled her gap. He knew all it needed was two words...

Then she saw his words on the screen that surrounded them. Her heart skipped two words.
His hands shook two words, two love filled words. Two amazing thoughtful words. Two words to his little girl.

Two words that built the bond in her mind, that it set. He had no idea he got ready for work the same, still a buzz from their conversation and the two words.

She had it planned in her head, everything, details and the two words. Her two words for his.

He stood there, nothing filled his mind but her. His little girl. Then he heard her two words that fit his perfectly.

She was trembling, she was there, she was his, he was hers. No matter what any one said.

His arms wrapped around her and she fit the whole he had held for so long. She was home, at home in his arms close to his heart.

She almost cried, she was safe again, she was daddy's little girl.

SHE WAS HOME
HE WAS HOME
THEY JUST FIT.
AND ALL IT TOOK WAS TWO WORDS FROM TWO HEARTS.
